7 April 2015 : Yellow Eggplant Soup or Terung Sarawak Soup
A simple and favourite soup of mine. I like its spicy, tangy and sourish outcome. The texture of this vegetable after cooking is chewy.
Ingredients :-
~ 1 Terung Asam / Terung Iban / Terung Sarawak
~ 1 Knor Tom Yam cube
~ 700ml water
~ 5 stalks lemongrass
Slice up the Terung Asam and lemongrass stalks. Place the cut lemongrass and Terung Asam in to the cooking pan. Add the water in a cooking pan with the Tom Yam cube. Stir occasionally. The dish is ready once you notice the skin of the cut Terung Asam peels off slightly.
*Note: You may add some meat or fish also in to this dish.
